  Athena had a dumb story and some stupid songs, but it features Steve Reeves and Dick Dubois, two of the best built and handsomest bodybuilders of the day. The parts where Steve Reeves is flipped by Edmund Purdom is pure science fiction.

War is inevitable, and Sylvania sends Chicolini (Chico Marx) and Pinky (Harpo Marx) to spy on Firefly and become members of his cabinet. Firefly declares war on Sylvania, and after more than a few double-crosses, Freedonia wins. This movie is silly, zany, crafty, and VERY entertaining.

He takes Henry to the elevator and tells him that it may be difficult to get through the Pearly Gates but that if he succeeds he will join Martha. An excellent film based on Ladislaus Bus-Fekete's play, "Birthdays." Oscar nominations were received for Best Picture and Director.

  In this remake of the 1937 film, Stewart Granger stars in the Ronald Colman role of an Englishman, Rudolf Rassendyll, who vacations in Romania where it is discovered that he has a surprising resemblance to Romania's Prince Rudolph (also played by Granger). The Prince's brother Michael, Duke of Strelsau (Robert Douglas) plans to usurp the throne and drugs the Prince the night before his coronation. Because he looks so much like the Prince, Rudolf is asked to impersonate the Prince during the coronation and foil the plot of his evil brother. Once he catches on to the subterfuge, the brother imprisons the real Prince, and now Rudolf, while carrying out the ruse, begins to fall in love with the Prince's fiancee Princess Flavia (Deborah Kerr).

  Based on the Bible story, in this rendition Edmund Purdom takes the role of the prodigal son Micah who gives in to greed. Micah spends his portion of his father's (Walter Hampden) fortune on new clothes, property, and the pursuit of the pagan Princess Samarra (Lana Turner) who wants him to renounce his faith. But, Micah refuses to forsake Jehova. After running out of funds, Micah is sold into slavery from which he escapes while freeing the other slaves. Micah returns home, his father welcomes him, and the fatted calf is killed in his honor.

This was Debbie Reynolds' second movie, and her rendition of the song "Abba Dabba Honeymoon" hit the charts.
