  Gwen Cummings (Sandra Bullock) gets so much into the spirit of her sister Lilly's (Elizabeth Perkins) wedding celebration that, high on drugs and alcohol, she "borrows" the wedding limo and crashes it into a neighbor's house. Next step: 28 days of rehab at Serenity Glen where Gwen sets out to beat the system as an alcoholic in denial.

  Drew Baylor (Orlando Bloom) has lost job and girlfriend as well, and, as if that were not enough, his father dies. Lucky for him because flight attendant Claire (Kirsten Dunst) gives him all of her attention, which results in Drew finding hope despite his adversities.

Plenty of action–but scaled down for the young ones. Live action, animation, and 3D contribute to making this an entertaining film.
