Mom and Dad   1948     2 and a half stars    N/R, 97 min.
Genre: Drama
Director: William Beaudine
Cast: June Carlson, Lois Austin, George Eldredge, Jimmy Clark, Hardie Albright, Bob Lowell, Willa Pearl Curtis, Jimmy Zaner, Jane Isbell, Robert Filmer

Joan's (June Carleson) innocence helped result in pregnancy. Tame by today's standards, this was considered to be obscene when it was released and even banned in some areas. It is interesting as a slice of changing attitudes in the country since the 1940s.
