Chan, his son Tommy (Victor Sen Yung), and chauffeur Birmingham (Mantan Moreland) pose as tourists, and the investigation begins. Clues lead to mine operator Driscoll (Ralph Dunn) who is smuggling gold from Mexico and passing it off as coming from the mine. But solving this case will prove difficult–and dangerous.
