He bases his decision on their expression of how much each one loves him. The play's subplot about the Duke of Gloucester and his son was deleted in the interest of time.

Then, Corbeck (Louis Gossett Jr.) arrives on the scene and knows immediately that the mummy of Egyptian Queen Kara, whose tomb Margaret's father had disturbed years ago, is trying to reincarnate through her victims. But, will Corbeck be able to stop the mummy?

Goldman is drugged and sent to Israel where he is tried while in a protective glass booth. Now the question is, "Is he, or is he not, really Dorff?" This screen adaptation of Robert Shaw's play is so far removed from Shaw's interpretation that Shaw removed his name from the credits.
