Frogs for Snakes   1998     1 star    R, 99 min.
Genre: Comedy
Director: Amos Poe
Cast: Barbara Hershey, Robbie Coltrane, Harry Hamlin, Ian Hart, John Leguizamo, Lisa Marie, Debi Mazar, Ron Perlman, Clarence Williams III, Justin Theroux

This gangster farce features Barbara Hershey in the role of Eva, a waitress who moonlights for her loan shark husband, Al Santana (Robbie Coltrane)–who, in turn, moonlights as an Off Off-Broadway performer. Eva is fed up with the collection game, but Al sends her out on one last assignment: collecting $100,000 from his son, Flav (Justin Theroux). "Frogs for Sale" combines violence with comedy and takes it too far over the limit.
