Orphaned twins–John and Jeremiah (both roles played by David White)–have taken diverse paths. John is an embittered ex-con who tries to double-cross his former partner, Rome (Eric Roberts). When plans go awry, Rome mistakes Jeremiah for John and kidnaps him. John, in turn, stays undercover by pretending to be Jeremiah who is just days away from his ordination as an Episcopal priest.
