Dr. Alan Grant (Sam Neill) succumbs to an offer he can't resist from Paul (William H. Macy) and Amanda Kirby (Tea Leoni) who want him to be their guide on the remote Isla Sorna where they plan to spend their anniversary watching dinosaurs. But once they land (crash-land!) on the island, Grant learns that all is not what it seems. This is no anniversary party; instead, the Kirbys reveal that they are searching for their son, Eric (Trevor Morgan), who is missing after parasailing over the island. Once again, it is humans vs. Raptors, Pterodactyls, and a giant Spinosaurus.
