  The military needs horses, so, of course, horse rustlers can't be far away trying to make some money. Roy Rogers and his pals, the Sons of the Pioneers (played by themselves), are planning a one-night stand performing at the Lariat Lodge, which is managed by Gus Jordan (Addison Richards) who, unknown to Roy, is the leader of a gang of horse rustlers. Roy figures out what is going on, and he and his pals save the day.
