South-central Los Angeles in the 1980s and 1990s is a war zone, and this offer provides Ricky the opportunity to escape from the neighborhood. Tre is also college bound, but when a gang attacks Tre and Ricky, Doughboy sets out to seek revenge while Tre must decide what he really wants to do with his life.
