Gale and Deputy Dewey (David Arquette) investigate and discover that a copy-cat killer is, indeed, recreating the earlier massacres that involve carving up the victims.

Corky St. Clair (Guest) leads the town's Blaine Community Players and is in charge of putting on a musical about the city's history. The problem is the lack of talent, and they want to impress Broadway producer Mort Guffman who has been invited to the show. The dream continues as they try to make the most out of what they have. The closing credits are a highlight of this film.
