Baby It's You   1983     3 stars    R, 105 min.
Genre: Comedy / Drama / Romance
Director: John Sayles
Cast: Rosanna Arquette, Vincent Spano, Joanna Merlin, Jack Davidson, Frank Vincent, Fisher Stevens, Robert Downey Jr., Matthew Modine, Nick Ferrari, Leora Dana, Bill Raymond, Sam McMurray, Dolores Messina, Liane Alexandra Curtis, Marta Kober

The rich-girl-in-love-with-boy-from-the-other-side-of-the-tracks classic storyline is again used; this time however, it's the 1960s and Jill Rosen (Rosanna Arquette) is an intelligent, college bound Jewish girl, and Albert 'Sheik' Capadilupo (Vincent Spano) is an Italian waiter with aspirations to become a singer. Good performances and script.

He began strangling and raping elderly women and then switched to younger women–a total of 13 victims–by the end of his reign of terror. Boston Police Department detective John S. Bottomly (Henry Fonda) directs the investigation, and it is not until one victim, Diane Cluny (Sally Kellerman), survives her attack and reports that she bit her attacker's hand that the clues fit together and lead to the capture of serial killer Albert DeSalvo (Tony Curtis).    1 User Review
