This excellent Western bases its intrigue on the psychological elements entwined in the relationship between farmer Dan Evans (Van Heflin) and his prisoner, Ben Wade (Glenn Ford). Evans has captured Wade and is holding him until the train arrives to carry Wade to Yuma. Frankie Laine sings the theme song for this entertaining film.
