A fast-developing storm appears over Rutland, VT, dropping large hail, and a plane carrying a liver for a sick boy goes down in the mountains. The boy's father (Ted McGinley) braves the elements, finds the plane and liver, makes it through the storm, and now must deliver it, though the boy is trapped in ruins resulting from the storm. Whew! [2003 was a bad year for Rutland–the film "Killer Flood: The Day the Dam Broke" also occurred there.]

Has The Leprechaun (Warwick Davis) met his match when he turns up as a statue in Las Vegas? Maybe so when he wakes up in a pawn shop and kills the owner. Now college student Scott (John Gatins)–after gambling away his tuition funds–comes into the shop to pawn his Rolex watch and finds the dead owner and the gold coin that brings good luck. But that luck changes quickly when the Leprechaun returns looking for his coin and will stop at nothing to retrieve it. And the assaults continue as the coin passes from person to person.
