  After being hired by the FBI to steal computer tapes from a large corporation, Quint (Tommy Lee Jones) uses his "Black Moon" high-speed car and hides the evidence in it. Now the car is missing! It was stolen by Nina (Linda Hamilton) and delivered to her car-thief boyfriend Ryland (Robert Vaughn). Now, Quint has no choice but to get the car back, and maybe Nina holds the key to his success.

  A Pittsburgh steel worker by day, Alex Owens (Jennifer Beals) is a bar room dancer by night. Her boyfriend is her wealthy boss Nick (Michael Nouri), and he gives Alex financial help toward her goal. Alex does come to terms with her dreams and finds the inner strength to turn them into reality. The music makes the movie, and "Flashdance...What a Feeling" won the Academy Award for Best Song.
