The trek proves difficult, and Mulan's dragon sidekick Mushu (voice of Mark Moseley) contributes to problems because he knows that his job will end if Mulan and Shang marry. Along the way, Mulan realizes that the princesses are being forced into loveless marriages and decides to help them escape their fate.
