Ronny Valentine and Kevin James (Vince Vaughn and Kevin James) are partners in an automobile engine design firm striving to launch their company by refitting an electric car to give it a rumble. Ronny is dating Beth (Jennifer Connelly), and Nick is married to Geneva (Winona Ryder). All is going well, until Ronny spots Geneva with Zip (Channing Tatum) and decides to find out what is going on. Mayhem ensues as the date nears for their presentation, and Ronny must decide whether or not to reveal the truth to Nick.
