  Ok, so the acting wasn't the greatest, but the MUSIC was fantastic! Rick Springfield was believable in this movie as a rock star (as he happens to be one in real life).

  I remember seeing this movie when it was first shown in a New York City theater in 1967. Pretty good movie for its time.
