Now Burns escapes on his horse, and he is chased by Sheriff Morey Johnson (Walter Matthau)–along with jeeps and helicopters–as he heads for the border.

Tommy gets his training from boxing scout Pete Genusa (Gerald Mohr) and gains success as a boxer but learns that despite his standings in the ring, he is still considered to be an "outsider" in the neighborhood.
