Meanwhile, New York Times columnist Kevin Doyle (James Marsden) is assigned to do a story on Tess and George's wedding. Kevin picks up on the story of Jane's life as a perennial bridesmaid. The two bicker over Kevin's opinions of women and weddings, but after a rocky start, Kevin and Jane begin to see good things in each other.

Each of them want the winnings, and they go to court for a settlement. And now the fun begins as Jack and Joy both scheme to drive the other out of the marriage.
