Meanwhile, New York Times columnist Kevin Doyle (James Marsden) is assigned to do a story on Tess and George's wedding. Kevin picks up on the story of Jane's life as a perennial bridesmaid. The two bicker over Kevin's opinions of women and weddings, but after a rocky start, Kevin and Jane begin to see good things in each other.

And now the fun begins as Jack and Joy both scheme to drive the other out of the marriage.
