Then, he learns that his family is in danger and returns home to reconcile with his father in Metro City and to save those he cares for.

The purpose of the trip is to break into George Lucas' Skywalker Ranch to get their hands on "Star Wars: Episode I–The Phantom Menace," which is not scheduled for release for a few more months. Linus has terminal cancer and may not be alive on the release date. So, the only way for him to see the much anticipated film is for his friends to steal it and allow Linus to watch the film before he dies.

After he has killed himself, Josh's e-mails, containing a virus, begin arriving on Maggie's and her friends' computers. Maggie tracks down the new owner of Josh's old computer, Dexter (Ian Somerhalder), and they join forces to try to put an end to the madness.
