Based on true events, this is the story of Raoul Wallenberg, a successful Swedish businessman who became an amateur diplomat when he volunteered to go to German-occupied Budapest during World War II as an advocate for trapped Hungarian Jews. His efforts are believed to have saved thousands of Jews. But after the war, he was taken prisoner by the Russians and became a cold war pawn. Depressing at times.
