Linda (Marjorie Reynolds) loved Tony Baxter (Malcolm "Bud" McTaggart) but didn't realize he was a crook until he was arrested and sent to jail. Now Linda falls in love with Assistant D.A. David Harrison (Charles Quigley), and all goes well–until Baxter is released from prison and wants Linda back. Linda's brother, Jerry (Howard Masters), goes to Baxter's apartment and finds Baxter shot to death. Jerry is arrested for the murder, reluctantly David serves as the prosecutor, and Linda tries to prove that Jerry is innocent.
