  A family feud involving a love potion has been brewing between the Winfields and the McCoys, and that is what greets Al Stewart (Bud Abbott) and Wilbert (Lou Costello) when they head for the Kentucky hills to claim an inheritance when Wilbert learns that he is related to the McCoys. One of the highlights is when Al and Wilbert meet Aunt Huddy (Margaret Hamilton) who is a witch. She turns Wilbert into a voodoo doll. Turn about is fair play, and Wilbert then turns Aunt Huddy into a voodoo doll.

They appear at the party with their cab driver friend Elsie (Marion Hutton) and turn the catered affair into a disaster. But, they manage to save the day when they use a fire engine to track down thieves.

The blood cultivates poison in the plants that Zenobia then uses to kill cattle on nearby ranches. Will Jean be the next victim?
