Laura (Demi Moore) works as an executive for the London Diamonds Corporation but has been passed over for many promotions in favor of less-qualified men. She is frustrated and even faces being fired. Scheming janitor Hobbs (Michael Caine) needs a partner to carry out a diamond heist and convinces Laura to join him as a way to get even with those who have hurt her career. The plan is set, but will Hobbs and Laura's edgy relationship prove to be their downfall, will the London Diamonds Corporation executives catch on, or will Laura and Hobbs be successful in stealing the diamonds?
