This remake of the 1930's original "Blue Angel" again tells the story of Professor Immanuel Rath (Curd Jurgens), "The Blue Angel," who becomes obsessed with Lola-Lola (May Britt) and, despite warnings from his freinds, he marries her. It doesn't take long for him to realize that he made a mistake, and tragedy ensues.
