Now, the Leprechaun kills Dan's wife Leah (Pamela Mant), and Dan suffers a stroke–but not before locking the Leprechaun in a crate. Years later, teenager Tory (Jennifer Aniston) and her father J.D. (John Sanderford) move into the house, and the Leprechaun is accidentally released. Murder and mayhem ensue as the evil Leprechaun stops at nothing to regain his stolen pot of gold.

During those summer months, as a result of Shoop's unorthodox teaching style, not only the students but the coach as well learn much about themselves and what it takes to succeed. Director Carl Reiner is able to keep this movie entertaining and funny.
