| | Anonymous 04/14/2009 | | Since become a Kevin Costner fan, I search out any films that he has starred in. His acting skills are superb, his character portrayal of the aging Tigers pitcher is extremely believable, and his sincerity of commitment to the girlfriend - Jane - that he finally realizes he cannot live without brings a happy crescendo to this love story of a man dedicated to being the best at his profession and his lifelong love. |
| | 08/04/2007 | | I can watch this movie over and over again, Kevin Costner and Kelly Preston did an excellent job, outstanding performances. This was a perfect film for Kevin to be in. As a Tiger fan it made it even better. |
| | Anonymous 06/11/2007 | | I thought this movie was great. Kevin Costner does an outstanding job in this type of genre, and Kelly Preston's talents and abilities are unparalled in acting today. She can do more with a look than most actors can do with a thousand lines. This was a very good film, but Kevin and Kelly's performances raised it to an excellent status. I would like to thank both of them for sharing their craft with us, the movie goers, who every once in a while rely on two hours of a film to take us someplace we would never be able to go otherwise. |
| | RascalBrat 02/25/2007 | | A great baseball/sports movie as well as love story. It was REAL ... as far as Kevin Costner playing this part. His athletic abilities were outstanding. I would recommend this to all audiences ... young and old. |
