Meanwhile, a lion tries to take over leadership in the jungle and, even worse, Ursala's mother (Christina Pickles), in cahoots with the dastardly Lyle (Thomas Haden Church), tries to talk Ursula into going back to "civilization." The real motivation lies in the fact that Lyle wants to build condos in their jungle.

Joseph eventually rises to a powerful position in the government and, eventually, is reunited with his family.
