Meanwhile, the spirit Ariel (Duane Black) magically sends Ferdinand to Miranda, and they fall in love. Ariel also plays a role in saving Prospero from half-man, half-beast Caliban (William Hootkins), and, by story's end, they are all–except Caliban–sailing back to Italy.
