Durell (Ice Cube) and LeeJohn (Tracy Morgan) have been friends since childhood and still have not learned how to stay out of trouble. When his ex-girlfriend Omunique (Regina Hall) threatens to move away with their young son (C.J. Sanders), Durell joins forces with LeeJohn to rob a church in order to provide funds to keep mother and son in town. They go to the church, but the money is missing, and now they hold the parishioners captive. Among the group of hostages are choirmaster Rickey (Katt Williams), Sister Doris (Loretta Devine), and Pastor Arthur Mitchell (Chi McBride). They are anything but a quiet group of victims and provide arguments convincing Durell and LeeJohn to repent and change their lives. 1 User Review

As if his life wasn't bad enough, as an adult Norbit is bullied into a marriage to the morbidly obese and strong-willed Rasputia (also Eddie Murphy). Rasputia has taunted Norbit since they were children and now continues her efforts as a hen-pecking wife. Then, one day, Norbit is reunited with his childhood sweetheart, Kate (Thandie Newton), who arrives to run the orphanage. Kate is engaged to slick Deion (Cuba Gooding Jr.), and Rasputia is more than prepared to keep Kate and Norbit apart. The film received an Academy Award nomination for Makeup.

Nancy (Gabrielle Union) is the divorced mother of John-John (Malik Hammond), Mikey (Jeremy Gumbs), and Emily (Khail Bryant). Christmas is approaching, and Nancy takes the children to the mall to see Santa. Emily has overheard her mother saying that all she wants for Christmas is a compliment from a man, and that's what she tells Santa. Santa is actually a struggling songwriter, Ben Armstrong (Morris Chestnut), who falls for Nancy, and they begin dating. All goes well–until Ben meets rap impresario J.Jizzy (Charles Q. Murphy) who wants to record Ben's songs, and they become partners. But there is a problem: J.Jizzy just happens to be Nancy's ex-husband, and John-John, who is determined to get his parents back together, wants Ben out of their lives.
