Stunt driver Nick (Michael Madsen) is on his way to prison when he is "rescued" by gunmen. The reason for the rescue soon becomes apparent to him: he is to drive the getaway car in a plot to capture the U.S. President (Roy Scheider). Lots of action–especially in the early part of the film that features crashes and car chases. Another film where ex-military men decide to take over when they're not happy with current policies–in this case, the cancellation of the "Star Wars" program.
