It isn't long before Adrien becomes the target of the Brittany (Susan Ward) whose evil deeds are kept secret by her snobbish friends.

Betty and Rita set out to uncover Rita's identity. At the same time, movie director Adam Kesher (Justin Theroux) experiences problems with his financial backers. By story's end, Betty's, Rita's, and Adam's lives affect each other in such mystifying scenes that the viewer is left to interpret the solutions. David Lynch received a Best Director Oscar nomination.

  This horror film begins when Claire (Michelle Pfeiffer) begins seeing things at her lakeside home in Vermont. While husband Norman (Harrison Ford) seems too preoccupied with his research to pay heed, muffled whispers, doors opening on their own, a tub that fills by itself, and a barking dog are dismissed as part of Claire's empty nest syndrome. Norman finally sends Claire to a psychologist (Joe Morton) who encourages her to seek answers from the spirit world.
