In the years following the Civil War, Josiah Galt (Jack Palance) and his family of Confederate guerillas turn to lives of violence as they go on a rampage of death and destruction. All goes well until Josiah's gang arrives six years later to attack David's town. A violent confrontation between David and Josiah ensues.
