But it doesn't take long for the dogs to start wandering around the hospital, and, miraculously, after encounters with the dogs, patients begin to heal. Of course, hospital rules do not allow dogs in patients' rooms, problems ensue, and the dogs are sent to an animal shelter. Now, a wealthy patient (Rue McClanahan) realizes that the dogs have cured her illness, and she ensures that the dogs are rescued, and new homes are found.
