This follow-on to the successful "The Hidden" is a slow, cheap effort. We now find out that the bad alien was not quite destroyed; it was able to leave pods behind, which now spawn. A new "good" alien teams with the daughter of the original film's hero to handle this problem.

A couple are diverted to a back road as they travel in Texas, and the next thing you know they are being pursued by a mask-wearing, chainsaw-wielding cannibal who seeks food for his family. Major cuts to keep the film down to an "R" rating helped make this sequel a real loser.
