Fallen Angels 1995 R, 96 min. Genre: Foreign / Drama
Director: Wong Kar Wai Cast: Leon Lai, Michelle Reis, Takeshi Kaneshiro, Charlie Yeung, Karen Mok, Yuk-ho Wu, Toru Saito, Chan Fai-hung, Man-Lei Chan, To-hoi Kong, Lee-na Kwan
Director Wong Kar Wai is at it again with stimulating sights and sounds. Rather than a detailed plot, this is really a character study of late-night lonely people in today's Hong Kong. There is the hit man who has had enough of his trade, his female "agent" he has never met, the mute who reopens closed shops in the middle of the night, and the bleached blonde who is searching for someone to love.
