Through his association with Octopussy, Bond figures out that the crazed Russian General Orlov (Steven Berkoff) is raising needed money by selling fake Faberge eggs to get needed money to pay for his plot to detonate a nuclear bomb in order to cripple Europe and defeat NATO.
