Annapolis 2006 PG-13, 108 min. Genre: Drama
Director: Justin Lin Cast: James Franco, Tyrese Gibson, Jordana Brewster, Donnie Wahlberg, Vicellous Reon Shannon, Roger Fan, Wilmer Calderon, McCaleb Burnett, Chi McBride, Jim Parrack, Brian Goodman, Charles Napier
A shipyard welder, Jake Huard (James Franco) dreams of becoming a midshipman at the Naval Academy. Many doubt his ability to perform the duties of a Naval officer, but Jake does get accepted and begins his plebe year. Jake encounters problems from Lt. Cole (Tyrese Gibson) whose constant harassing upsets Jake. The solution: Jake will fight Cole in the Brigade Championship boxing match. Lessons learned in this film are a far cry from those given at the real-life Naval Academy, and the U.S. Navy declined participation in this film's preparation. 1 User Review

Fast & Furious 2009 PG-13, 100 min. Genre: Action
Director: Justin Lin Cast: Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, John Ortiz, Laz Alonso, Gal Gadot, Shea Whigham, Tego Calderon, Jack Conley, Liza Lapira, Sung Kang, Mirtha Michelle, Greg Cipes, Ron Yuan
The cast is back, and this time the scene is set in California and Central America. Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) is still living life on the lam, and his old feud with undercover agent Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker) is put on hold when they combine forces to bring down a drug king. The action heats up with plenty of behind-the-wheel suspense. 1 User Review
