| | A beautiful film | A Fan 08/19/2007 | | I thought it a beautiful film where family stills sticks together despite negative things that come into there life, to bad we dont have alot of that today. The kids were great...jasper and logan polish were cute actresses and real in there roles. Hope there are more films like this. |

This 3-D animated adventure begins with bride Susan Murphy ( voice of Reese Witherspsoon) preparing for her wedding to TV weatherman Derek Dietl (voice of Paul Rudd). Outside the church, Susan is hit by a meteor, and, instantly, she begins to grow to the enormous size of 50 feet tall. Military helicopters arrive on the scene, swoop her up, and deliver her to a government prison for monsters. Susan is given the new name of Ginormica (voice of Witherspoon), and is welcomed by the other imprisoned monsters–insect-headed Dr. Cockroach (voice of Hugh Laurie), blobish B.O.B. (voice of Seth Rogen), and half-human/half-fish Missing Link (voice of Will Arnett)–welcome her. Susan is doomed to spend her life in the prison–until an evil alien, Galaxhar (voice of Rainn Wilson), threatens to conquer Earth. Now, Gen. W.R. Monger (voice of Kiefer Sutherland) convinces the President (voice of Stephen Colbert) to promise the monsters their freedom if they can defeat Galaxhar and his army of clones and robots.

The battle with the mechanical aliens, the Transformers, has ended on Earth, but now the evil Transformers, the Decepticons, are attempting to control the universe. The good Transformers, the Autobots, discover that Decepticon Megatron's (voice of Hugo Weaving) dead body has been revived, and Megatron seeks revenge. Meanwhile, Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) has left his girlfriend Mikaela Banes (Megan Fox) at home and is attending college when he receives a cryptic message holding the map to the energon source. The message will serve Sam well when Megatron returns and goes after Sam's family (Kevin Dunn and Julie White) and the heroic Autobot, Optimus Prime (voice of Peter Cullen). Megalon's aim is to suck energy from the Sun with a vaporizer hidden in Egypt, which will destroy the Sun and humanity forever. Sam and Makaela set out on a trek in search of the energon source, and the battles rage between the Decepticons and the Autobots.
