The funeral is scheduled in three days, but the bodies are stolen from the morgue, and the vintners are holding the corpses hostage until damage caused by the crash is paid. After paying up and retrieving the bodies, Wendell and Pamela enjoy a night of skinny dipping that could result in scandal but marks the beginning of their own love affair.

Being anti-Communist, he is targeted by them after the war and is accused of war crimes. Acquitted, he and his wife go to Arabia where they work to improve the health of the Arabian people. After he returns to England 20 years later, he is again maligned, this time in a book, which accuses him of conducting medical experiments on Jews. An exciting courtroom battle ensues. Great cast, especially Anthony Hopkins as the doctor. QB VII refers to the courtroom where the trial occurs (Queen's Bench, room #7).
