This story begins in Italy but soon switches to Los Angeles where Charlie Croker (Mark Wahlberg) leads his gang of thieves in setting up the biggest traffic jam that Los Angeles has ever seen. The reason: to provide their escape after stealing gold bullion that Charlie and his cohorts had already stolen in Italy and lost in a double cross.
