Lt. Malcolm (Guy Stockwell) leads a Cavalry troop trying to recover a Gatling gun disposed of by greedy Pvt. Sneed (Robert Fuller) and Rev. Harper (John Carradine). The Gatling gun has become the great equalizer as the Cavalry now has firepower greater than the Apache arrows and the conventional guns of the criminals. During their search, Malcolm and his troops must find a way to beat Apache chief Two Knives (Carlos Rivas) and his braves who are closing in on them.
