Clay (Dean Cain), a young aviator, makes a forced landing on a remote island. A young native boy (Kristian de la Osa) becomes attached to both Clay and his airplane–which the boy thinks can communicate with him. The friendship has an impact on the boy's mother (Talisa Soto) and her fiance (Miguel Sandoval), and lessons are learned by all in this family film.
