In this animated film, Penny (voice of Miley Cyrus) and her cute dog Bolt (voice of John Travolta) are stars on a TV show, and Bolt is unaware that his amazing feats are only part of his TV performance. When Bolt is shipped accidentally from his TV sound stage in Hollywood to New York City, Bolt sets off on a cross-country trip, planning to use what he mistakenly believes are his super powers, to get back to Penny. Along the way, Bolt is joined by a cat, Mittens (voice of Susie Essman), and TV-obsessed hamster Rhino (voice of Mark Walton) and manages to make the trek through the real world. The film received an Academy Award nomination for Best Animated Feature.
