Meanwhile, Baker's sailor pal Bilge Smith (Randolph Scott) romances Sherry's sister Connie (Harriet Hilliard), but all does not go well for them. Astaire and Rogers' dance rendition of "Let's Face the Music and Dance" is a highlight of the film.
