Malastrana   1971     2 and a half stars    N/R, 92 min.

aka: Short Night of the Glass Dolls

Director: Aldo Lado
Cast: Jean Sorel, Ingrid Thulin, Mario Adorf, Barbara Bach, Fabijan Sovagovic, Jose Quaglio, Piero Vida, Daniele Dublino, Sven Lasta, Luciano Catenacci, Relja Basic, Michaela Martin

This low-budget Italian flick is another in the long line of horror/thrillers popular in the 1970s. Gregory (Jean Sorel) appears to be dead on his arrival at the hospital, even though his body temperature is still normal. He is duly declared dead and sent for an autopsy. But Gregory is indeed alive, though paralyzed, and as he awaits the autopsy he tries to figure out what happened to place him here. Good, creepy film.
