The Little Thief 1999 N/R, 65 min. Genre: Foreign / Drama
Director: Erick Zonca Cast: Nicolas Duvauchelle, Yann Tregouet, Jean-Jerome Esposito, Martial Bezot, Jean-Armand Dalomba, Jo Prestia, Ingrid Preynat, Veronique Balme
This is another film with the same "feel" as Zonca's award-winning "Dreamlife of Angels." Esse (Nicolas Duvauchelle) quits his menial job and, searching for friendship, casts his lot with a group of hooligans. Before long, he has learned the intricacies of crime. A dreary, but compelling, tale that is told in just over an hour.
