Best friends Rafe (Ben Affleck) and Danny (Josh Hartnett)–two parts of a romantic triangle–go off to join the war in this love story. For a much better focus on Pearl Harbor, watch Richard Fleischer's "Tora! Tora! Tora!" An Academy Award was received for Best Sound Editing, and the film was nominated for three other awards.
