This should be a requirement for all US history classes that cover the Civil War era, even the pre Civil and post Civil War eras. |

Now, 78-years later, Captain Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) and the crew of Enterprise-D rescue Dr. Soran (Malcolm McDowell) who, unknown to Picard, is plotting to destroy the world. When Picard realizes that Soran presents a real danger, he convinces Kirk to leave his comfort zone in purgatory and come to his aid. This is a milestone film in that two generations of starship officers, Kirk and Picard, work together to stop an alien from destroying the universe.

Perhaps one of the most interesting moments is the interview with Barbara Adams, who arrived for jury duty every day for the Whitewater trial wearing her Star Trek Lieutenant Commander's uniform. But Adams is just one of the many devoted Trekkies interviewed by the narrator, Denise Crosby, in this very amusing documentary.
