Realizing that he had amnesia while in England during the war, Johnny Gray (Franchot Tone) returns home and becomes a successful architect. Then one day, Amy (Ann Richards) shows up with two children in tow and claims she is his wife and the children are theirs. Not only does Johnny not remember a wife and children, he is not ready for the responsibility. And the fun begins.
