Author Jean (Beverly Roberts)–along with her bear cubs, a collie, and a talking rook–heads to the Yukon to find material for a novel. She meets a trader, Gaston (Richard Arlen), and the two decide to head home when winter conditions deteriorate. The ice breaks and they lose the dog sled. But help is on the way from another traveler, and the adventures and romances continue. Cheap.
